Team Coaching – More than the sum of its members.

Needs-based team coaching for companies and organizations.

Nationwide, in-person, hybrid, or online. In German and English.
Teams are rarely quiet. They clash, lose their way, and find themselves anew. Sometimes they get in each other’s way—not out of malice, but because there’s no room for dialogue in day-to-day business. External team coaching creates that space: a safe environment where clarity becomes possible.

What Team Coaching Means to Me

A structured space for what has no place in daily life

Team coaching is not a one-size-fits-all program. It emerges from what the team needs—not from what I offer. Some teams need one day; others need several. Some need conflict resolution, some need new values, and some need both. What they share is the wish to work better together.

My approach combines structured facilitation with genuine depth. We don’t just talk about what isn’t working—we understand why. We don’t just agree on rules—we clarify what each individual needs for those rules to be effective. And we don’t leave the workshop with promises, but with concrete next steps.

What your team gets from me: a calm, clear space. Outside your organizational structure. Without a political agenda. Without finger-pointing.

What Your Team Gets

What your team won’t get

When a team gets stuck...

a clear outside perspective can help.

Over time, teams develop their own patterns: who talks to whom, who gets overlooked, which topics are off-limits, and which conflicts are played out behind the scenes. These patterns are rarely conscious—but they drain energy, stifle innovation, and sometimes cost the team good employees.

From the inside, these patterns are almost impossible to see. This is precisely the strength of external team coaching: I stand on the sidelines, neutral and impartial, seeing what everyone else overlooks, and ensuring that even what hasn’t been said before can be voiced.

Many teams come to me saying, “We know something isn’t right—but we can’t figure it out on our own anymore.” This is exactly where I step in.

Typical Reasons for Team Coaching

Team coaching isn’t a catalog of workshops. It’s tailored to your team’s specific needs.

Resolving Conflicts Within the Team

When an unresolved conflict blocks collaboration, it can occur among individuals, groups, or hierarchical levels. The goal is a sustainable resolution, not just a superficial calm.

Clarifying Roles and Responsibilities

When it’s unclear who is responsible for what, where the boundaries lie, or where expectations clash—especially after reorganizations, periods of growth, or changes in leadership.

Developing or Strengthening Team Identity

When a team has just come together or has realized it has lost its sense of unity. Who are we as a team? What do we stand for? How do we want to be perceived?

Developing Shared Values

When the team wants to grow, change, or realign itself. Values that are truly lived out—not just those listed on the website.

Improving Communication Within the Team

When a lot is said but little is heard. When the same discussions keep repeating themselves. When meetings drain more energy than they provide.

Shaping Change as a Team

During reorganizations, new strategies, growth, or crises. External coaching gives the team a space where the new direction can be understood and embraced—rather than merely executed.

Format and Process

Every team coaching session begins with a preliminary discussion. During this discussion, we clarify what is currently happening within the team, what you hope to achieve, and what framework makes sense. Only then do we develop the concept for your team—not before.

1. Preliminary Meeting and Needs Assessment

We discuss the situation, the background, and the goals. Sometimes those in charge (HR, management, team leaders) are present; sometimes selected employees are included as well. The preliminary meeting is free of charge and non-binding.

2. Concept Development

Based on the preliminary discussion, I developed a suitable format. Sometimes a one-day workshop is enough; other times, a multi-part process spanning weeks or months is needed. I recommend what truly fits—not what generates the highest fee.

3. Implementation

In person at your location, online, or in a hybrid format. With or without pre- and post-sessions with individual participants, depending on your needs. For larger groups or complex situations, I work as part of a co-coaching team.

4. Transfer

Team coaching is only effective if what is learned carries over beyond the workshop. That’s why coaching doesn’t end with the final session, but with clear agreements, concrete next steps, and—if desired—a brief follow-up session after a few weeks.

Frequently Asked Questions About Team Coaching

What you might still be wondering

How much does team coaching cost?

Fees depend on the scope, format, and number of participants. Since every team coaching session is unique, there are no standard prices. During the preliminary consultation, we’ll work together to determine what your team needs—and you’ll then receive a clear, transparent quote.
That depends on the issue at hand. Some topics can be addressed in a single intensive session. Others require support over several sessions, sometimes spanning weeks or months. During the preliminary discussion, we’ll talk about what’s realistic and what will truly be effective.
As confidential as possible. Content discussed during coaching stays within the session—unless explicitly agreed otherwise. Clear agreements are made in advance with management or HR regarding what will and will not be reported back. Confidentiality is essential for team coaching to be effective at all.
Ideally, yes. Team coaching is most effective when the entire team is involved. If individual team members cannot or do not wish to participate, we’ll discuss in advance how to handle this.
Team building aims to strengthen team cohesion through shared experiences—often using experiential formats. Team coaching works at a deeper level: addressing patterns, conflicts, roles, and values. Both have their place, but team coaching has a more lasting impact when real clarification is needed.
An initial consultation can be scheduled within a few days. I respond to inquiries within 48 hours. The actual workshop date depends on the format and your availability—usually within two to six weeks after the project scope has been clarified.

Team Coaching
We took a course with Susanne yesterday and today through the VHS in Crailsheim. The course focused on conflict resolution in after-school care. I have to say, I’m totally thrilled. She engages with the group, draws on examples from their everyday lives, and entertains us with stories from her own life. She even includes those who tend to be shy. I think she did a great job, and I’ve taken home plenty to think about.
